About the West
Michigan Flying
Club
The West Michigan
Flying Club is a
Non-Profit Flying
Club Located at the
Muskegon Airport
(MKG) in Muskegon, Michigan.
The Purpose of the
club is to promote General Aviation,
to provide a
low-cost way for members to fly, and to provide
a place for pilots
to get together for informative meetings with
interesting guests.
WMFC keeps costs
down because members are expected to
volunteer their
sevices to help in any way they can, whether in
keeping aircraft
and facilities clean, or helping with fund raisers,
attending
functions or even helping with minor maintenance.
Our members are
always willing to help you learn anything
you want to know
about airplanes, like learning to fly, aircraft
maintenance, GPS,
and finding weather through the Internet
connection we have
at the club. For more information, email tom@muskegon.com
About Our Aircraft
All of our members
are part owners of our planes and therefore entitled to use the
planes at prices which reflect the cost of flying them, or as close
as we can come to that price. We currently have four planes, each
equipped with a GPS receiver.
